We are proud of our generosity to McHenry County Schools. The WPPC provides grants of native plants to schools interested in creating an outdoor classroom. The grant offers up to 400 prairie plants to a qualifying school. Our committee members are very experienced in gardening skills, restoration, and native plant lore and we are happy to provide assistance and guidance as necessary.

To be considered for outdoor classroom grant submission, please submit a completed Grant Letter and email or postmark on or before January 9th.

Please note that you must submit your request as outlined in the “criteria for grant submission” in the Grant Letter and there are no extensions of time for your request.
